With just one week left to register to vote for the upcoming General Election, Orange County Tax Collector Scott Randolph is encouraging Florida residents to register to vote or update their voting information at any of the seven local Tax Collector offices, also known as tag agencies, across Orange County.
As an agent of the State of Florida, Randolph’s Office administers all motor vehicle functions, including the popular Motor Voter program which allows Florida residents to register to vote, change their address or change their party affiliation while conducting their driver license business. According to the Florida Division of Elections, since Randolph took office in January 2013, more than 100,000 Florida residents have registered to vote at the Orange County Tax Collector’s office – that’s 66% of all voter registration in Orange County during that time. So far this year In Orange County, more than 22,000 residents have registered to vote through Motor Voter and other Tax Collector efforts.
“The right to vote is the most sacred right granted to Americans,” Orange County Tax Collector Scott Randolph said. “We want to do everything we can to make it easier for folks to register to vote, and that’s why our office is so committed to the Motor Voter program.”
To register to vote or update voting information, residents may visit any Orange County Tax Collector Office Monday through Friday during regular business hours:
